Reveal the Path with Your Flashlight

In Shadeshift, visibility changes how you interact with the environment. Shine your flashlight to reveal platforms, obstacles, and objects hidden in the darkness. Some hazards behave differently depending on whether they are illuminated, so switching your light on and off becomes an essential part of your journey.

Move through each level, jump across platforms, and study the surroundings to find a safe route to the star. Keep in mind that you must illuminate the star to collect it and unlock the next stage.

Use Light and Darkness to Your Advantage

The flashlight is more than a source of visibility. It changes how you understand the level and plan your movements. Certain obstacles become dangerous under the light, while darkness can help you pass through tricky sections. Experiment with different lighting conditions to uncover the right path.

How to Play Shadeshift?

1. Move Through the Level: Use WASD or the arrow keys to move around the platforms and explore your surroundings.
2. Control Your Flashlight: Click to switch the flashlight on or off. Use its beam to reveal hidden objects and understand the layout of each level.
3. Avoid Dangerous Obstacles: Watch how hazards react to light and darkness. Adjust your flashlight to get past obstacles safely.
4. Reach the Star: Navigate the platforms and illuminate the star before attempting to collect it.
5. Advance to the Next Level: Complete the current puzzle by collecting the star and continue exploring new challenges. Press P to open the pause menu whenever you need a break.
