Voices Of The Void is a horror simulation game about monitoring deep-space transmissions from a lonely mountain observatory. Take control of the research station, uncover strange signals, and begin exploring the mysteries hidden around your workplace.
High in the mountains, the observatory becomes your entire world. Forest surrounds the facility, several structures hold specialized equipment, and a network of antennas scans the sky for distant transmissions.
Your role as Dr. Kel revolves around keeping this unusual workplace functional. Days are divided between signal research, maintenance, supplies, exploration, and whatever unexpected event decides to interrupt the schedule.
The radio array constantly searches for transmissions from space. You can discover signals associated with stars, exoplanets, satellites, space probes, and other objects before downloading and processing their data.
The signal catalogue contains more than 200 unique discoveries. Normal astronomical transmissions provide the foundation of the job, while stranger recordings can introduce clues about the mysteries surrounding the observatory.
Successfully processed signals generate points that become the main currency for your work. These can be used to obtain food, tools, machinery upgrades, and other useful items for the facility.
Hunger, sleep, stamina, and equipment condition all matter during longer sessions. A broken machine can turn a simple research task into a trip across the compound, adding another layer to the station's daily management.
The surrounding grounds contain antennas, storage areas, machinery, objects, and locations that can become important during different events. Walking through the forest at night creates a completely different atmosphere from working at the terminals. Strange sounds and unexplained changes can appear without warning, making familiar routes feel increasingly uncertain.
The longer the story continues, the more unusual its events become. Voices Of The Void contains 45+ days, numerous special events, hidden secrets, and easter eggs scattered throughout the world.
Supernatural anomalies, extraterrestrial encounters, dangerous weather, strange entities, and other incidents can disrupt normal operations. Some discoveries can even damage equipment or place the player in direct danger, turning an ordinary research shift into a tense encounter.
