City Hero is an open-world adventure game where a blue rope-swinging hero explores a dangerous 3D city filled with missions, rooftops, hidden areas, and unexpected encounters.
The city becomes your playground in City Hero. Move through streets, alleys, rooftops, and open areas while using the hero's rope to reach elevated locations and travel across the city.
Exploration can lead to missions, collectibles, mini-games, and different encounters scattered around the map. Moving through the city is part of the adventure, giving you plenty of places to investigate between objectives.
The grappling rope gives the hero a distinctive way to travel. Swing toward buildings, leap across rooftops, and use your movement abilities to reach places that are difficult to access from street level. Jumping and sprinting also help you navigate the urban environment as missions send you into different parts of Vice Town.
Different activities appear throughout the city, including missions involving criminals, races, item collection, and survival challenges. Completing objectives can provide cash and other rewards for further progression.
The Zombie Arena adds a separate survival experience where enemy waves become increasingly difficult. You can also encounter a powerful robot boss during the more demanding challenges.
Cash earned during your adventures can be used to obtain weapons, vehicles, health and stamina items, cosmetics, and superhero skins. New outfits and gear give your character a different appearance while expanding your collection.
The streets of Vice Town hide missions, challenges, collectibles, and new places to explore. Enter City Hero, swing across the skyline, and start uncovering the city at your own pace. Play as a hero in DELTARUNE as well!
