The adventure of DELTARUNE online begins with Kris and quickly expands into a much stranger journey involving Susie, Ralsei, and the mysterious Dark Worlds. Every location introduces new characters, situations, puzzles, and encounters, while the chapter structure gradually opens up a larger story. Walk through towns, forests, castles, and other unusual locations, interact with NPCs, collect useful items, and investigate areas that may contain optional discoveries.
After selecting your actions, you must control the SOUL inside a battle box and avoid waves of incoming attacks. The defensive sections can feature different projectile shapes, movement patterns, and attack layouts. Staying aware of the available space helps you survive longer encounters while also creating opportunities to build TP through certain actions.
Your party members bring different abilities to combat. During your turn, you can select commands such as FIGHT, ACT, MAGIC, ITEM, DEFEND, and SPARE depending on the situation.
