Kart control focuses on quick steering and drifting. Use WASD or the Arrow Keys to accelerate and steer around corners, then press Spacebar when you need your kart's special move. Press Left Shift to look behind and keep track of racers approaching from the rear. Staying on the track also matters because going off-road can slow your kart considerably.

Turn Power-Ups Into Race-Changers

Power-ups can completely change the situation on the track. Collect items such as rockets, shields, traps, and boosts as you race. Use a rocket when an opponent is directly ahead, save a boost for a useful straight section, or drop a banana around a corner where another racer may have trouble avoiding it.
