In Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack, Papa Louie finds himself in a strange world where ordinary food has become a threat. Pizza monsters, walking sandwiches, and other food creatures stand between him and the captured customers. Explore each stage, collect scattered pizza slices, and fight your way toward the next rescue.
Papa Louie has a trusty paddle for close-range combat and pepper bombs for attacking enemies from a distance. Different monsters require different approaches, so pay attention to their movements before striking. Cheese monsters have a special weakness: knock their cheese balls back at them to defeat them. Bombs can also help against troublesome enemies, making it useful to save them for difficult encounters.
Each level combines platforming challenges with combat and collection objectives. Jump across gaps, avoid hazards, and search the surroundings for pizza slices as you move forward. Reach the end of a stage and free the captives to complete your mission.
Coins collected along the way can help you purchase additional pepper bombs from Big Pauly, giving Papa Louie more resources for the battles ahead. You can also collect hearts to restore your health and keep moving forward after encounters that cost you some hearts.
Wait for a cheese monster to throw a cheese ball, then hit the projectile back toward the enemy. Ordinary attacks won't defeat these enemies, so use their own attacks against them.
Press Spacebar to jump, then hold Spacebar while airborne to glide with Papa Louie's hat. Use this ability to cover longer distances and reach platforms that are difficult to access with a normal jump.
Pepper bombs are useful for ranged attacks and difficult enemy encounters. Save your supply for stronger opponents or situations where approaching enemies with the paddle is risky.
