The Light Temple is filled with stone corridors, hidden mechanisms, elevators, and rooms that respond to beams of light. Across 40 levels, Fireboy and Watergirl must navigate increasingly tricky layouts to find their way out.
Light plays a central role in this adventure. Redirect beams toward sensors, rotate mirrors, and activate mechanisms to reveal pathways or move platforms. Each chamber presents a different puzzle, making observation and teamwork essential for reaching the exit.
Move mirror boxes and adjust colored light beams to reach their matching sensors. Some mechanisms require rotating a beam by 90 degrees, while others involve switches, buttons, and levers that control doors or elevators. Both characters may need to stand in different places to complete a puzzle. Plan their movements carefully so one hero can activate a mechanism while the other crosses the newly opened route.
Fireboy and Watergirl must reach their matching doors to complete a level. Fireboy heads for the red exit, while Watergirl must find the blue exit. The two routes often depend on each other. One character may need to press a button, hold a switch, or move a platform so the other can continue. Completing every objective and collecting the available gems also helps improve your level results.
One player can control both characters, or two players can share the keyboard and coordinate their movements.
