Destroy Any Website is a browser-based run-and-gun game where you can destroy anything on the web with your stickman! Enter a URL, load the stage, and start the chaos.
The main idea behind Destroy Any Website is to use a website as your game environment. After entering a URL, the selected page is recreated as a temporary 2D level where text, images, buttons, and other visual elements become part of the action.
You control a pixel-style character across the page, moving between sections while shooting anything in your path. The destruction meter tracks your progress and gives every level a clear objective.
A major part of the fun comes from the changing layouts. A news page, online store, personal homepage, or another website can produce a completely different environment.
Long pages can create tall areas to explore, while pages with many separate elements provide plenty of targets. This makes the URL itself part of the level-generation concept and gives Destroy Any Website a large variety of possible stages.
The jetpack becomes particularly useful on larger pages where important targets are positioned above the main route. Dropping through supported surfaces also gives you another way to move between different parts of the level.
The game gives you seven main weapons plus grenades and a jetpack. The arsenal includes the pistol, SMG, shotgun, RPG, railgun, flamethrower, and missiles.
Each weapon creates a different way to attack the webpage. Rapid-fire weapons are useful for clearing small targets, while heavier weapons can cause larger bursts of destruction. Grenades add another explosive option when several elements are grouped.
The destruction percentage gives each session a straightforward progress target. Keep moving through the webpage, attack its elements, and push the percentage toward 100%. This system works especially well with the game's unpredictable layouts. A familiar website can suddenly become a maze of platforms and targets, making exploration part of the destruction process.
Destroy Any Website also supports online multiplayer. A host can create a room, select a website, and invite friends to join the same instance. Up to six players can play together, with multiplayer features built around player information, scores, kills, and rematches. The shared webpage becomes an unusual arena where everyone can move and attack within the same level.
