Granny is a survival horror escape game where you need to pay attention to every creak, dropped object, and locked door. Explore the house, uncover useful items, and find a way out before your five days run out.
You wake up trapped inside Granny’s house with limited time to find a way out. Each failed attempt costs a day, so learning the layout and keeping track of useful items becomes an important part of your escape.
Start exploring the rooms, hallways, drawers, shelves, and hidden corners of the house. Important objects can appear in different locations, so each playthrough requires you to search the environment and work out where the next useful item might be.
Granny has extremely sensitive hearing. Dropping objects, stepping on noisy floors, or disturbing items can reveal your location and bring her toward you. Move carefully when searching areas close to her patrol route.
Wardrobes, closets, and spaces under beds can provide temporary hiding spots when Granny is nearby. Reaching a hiding place without being seen gives you a chance to wait for her to move away before continuing your search.
Different objects are connected to different parts of the house and its escape routes. Look for keys, codes, tools, and other useful items, then figure out where each one can be used.
The main entrance contains several obstacles that must be dealt with before you can leave. The Padlock Code, Battery, and other required objects can help remove these barriers and open the path toward freedom.
The house extends beyond its interior rooms, with the backyard containing additional puzzles and objects. The Winch Handle can be used with the well, while Cogwheels are connected to the Playhouse and its hidden compartment.
Another route involves repairing the car in the garage. The Car Engine, Spark Plug, and Car Battery are among the important components needed to prepare this escape method.
Bear Traps can slow down your progress and leave you vulnerable when Granny is nearby. The house also contains other hazards, including the spider and crow, which can interfere with your search for important items.
Some threats can be distracted with specific objects. Meat can draw the spider's attention away, while birdseed can distract the crow and give you access to items in its area.
Granny offers several difficulty levels that change the pressure of the escape. Practice removes Granny so you can explore, while Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme progressively increase the challenge through factors such as Granny's speed and additional locks.
